Look at Real Madrid, despite what coaches like Jose, Ancelotti and co did, they still got criticised when things weren't going well. Arsenal fans carried a lot of scars from 2009-2022. 8-2, 6-0 and multiple 5-1 defeats. Never making it past the round of 16 in the Champions league and going without UCL football for 5 seasons in a row between 2017-2022. In fact we were so bad that pundits even put us out of the "big 6". But Arteta made us a respected force again. He fixed the culture, challenged our ownership and re-established the connection with fans. The soft underbelly that Arsenal had has been replaced with a physical team that nobody likes to play against. Winning the club's first Premier league title in 22 years was a historic moment putting him on par with the elites. He also became the second youngest manager to win it. All this while progressing every season in the Champions league - from quarter finals to semi finals to finals. Never were Arsenal closer to winning the biggest competition in club football in their entire history. Ultimately Arteta has established the standard at Arsenal and made everyone demand more of themselves. With Arteta in charge, the club's future is in safe hands.

Havertz’s inability to occupy dangerous zones in the box is killing Arsenal more than they think.

Last season, even though Gyökeres wasn’t exceptional on the ball, his ability to stay central and give the CBs a hard time made it difficult for teams to press Arsenal high.

People don’t realize how much pinning CBs and vertical stretching helped Arsenal win the title last season, they think it’s was all gimmicks. When you add that to the 14 goals he scored which were mostly against Arsenal’s bogey teams you’ll understand the “Gyokeres lead us to the title” statements.

But he didn't crack the top 3 because it was clear to everyone that it was our defense that carried the team. Hell, they would've won us the UCL as well outside of a single error.
