This amazing Fairy Bridge can be found in the woodland at Glen Creran near Oban. In spring, the moss floored woodland surrounding the bridge is covered in bluebells and wild garlic. A truly magical place.

The Battle of the Pass of Brander (Loch Awe) in Scotland forms a small part of what's known as the Wars of Scottish Independence, which was a victory for King Robert Bruce over the MacDougalls of Argyll. The date is not exactly know but the late summer of 1308 is most likely.
