One thing that really stuck with me from a recent talk with hospital staff, was an incident of someone rushing towards a Muslim woman (who was with her young children) clearly with an evil intent.
We’ve still got a lot of work to do to tackle Islamophobia in 🇳🇿 #MeetAMuslimNZ
Today is #AnzacDay
To mark this occasion, members of our community have already taken part in the poppy fund raising and will also today be assisting with services across the country and laying wreaths too.

‘Loyalty to your country of residence is part of faith’
In the lead up to #AnzacDay members of our @NZMuslimYouth are also helping with the poppy appeal.
#LestWeForget millions of Muslims also took part & made immense sacrifices in the wars
