In our second video we look at the “#BuildBackBetter” agenda and how it connects everything from #Covid19, vaccines, food shortages, #climatechange and socialism. Who are the groups and individuals that are pushing this agenda? Watch, like and subscribe! https://t.co/Ym8DYR6zst
@DoomedPoor@dr_balbin If "the enemy uses human shields" is a complete defence, then every army on earth has a legal incentive to claim human shields and proportionality becomes meaningless. That's exactly why the law rejects your argument.
@DoomedPoor@dr_balbin If 'the enemy uses human shields' automatically justified any level of civilian death, then the laws of war would be meaningless. That's exactly why proportionality exists.
@DoomedPoor@dr_balbin Yes. Hamas committed atrocities on October 7th. Nobody serious disputes that. The debate is whether that fact grants Israel unlimited moral and legal immunity afterward. It doesn't.
@DoomedPoor@dr_balbin A test is only useful if the inputs are agreed. In Star Wars, everyone agrees who built the Death Star. In Israel-Palestine, the arguments are precisely about aggression, occupation, proportionality, civilian targeting & self-defence. You're still importing your answers.
@dr_balbin You're not importing a test, you're importing assumptions. The entire dispute is over who is aggressor, victim, occupier, defender, terrorist, or freedom fighter. In Star Wars those questions are settled by the author. In real life they're the debate itself.
@dr_balbin This argument is circular. You use fictional stories where the hero and villain are already agreed upon to prove who the hero and villain are in a real conflict where that's precisely what's being debated. Your premise is disguised as an analogy.
