@YodaStockInvest The truth is, people that aren’t down this month are likely not in high beta growth stocks that can generate outsized returns (which is perfectly fine by the way). They most likely packed up in ETFs.
As you know, Lower Risk tends to equal Lower Reward 💸
@amitisinvesting@AceCrouton My bet is on V-Shape. In 2022, big tech was missing earnings while interest rate was being increased. In 2026 July, big tech is crushing earnings while the interest rate stays steady.
Everything else is just noise and fear of maybe’s imo.
This is a tough year because many different strategies didn't work. Bidding value didn't work, chasing hype and gambling worked but you had to take profits which very few did. The gamblers were the winners but since they gambled for big gains they now have massive losses. Sector rotation was selective where some sectors flopped and others were extreme lock out rallies as the markets mispriced some sectors that were actually cheap. The early year sell off led to panic so the conservative traders derisked but then a massive rally happened sidelining a lot of funds. If you jumped in too late you got torched. Somehow those making 4% holding cash might walk away the winners during yet again another wild midterm year with some record months for gains and losses.
@BULLOFBRITAIN Based on Google’s Massive CapEx increase for AI, I don’t think so.
The market is simply being irrational as always, but it’s all part of the game. This dip is a buying opportunity imo.
