For some portions of the protesting last night, the protesters had police on the retreat, vastly outnumbering them in certain areas.

In one of the tensest moments in the footage I received, a man appeared to yell "we talked long enough" and someone else egged him on to "hit him [a cop] then."

When he did, police pushed in, arresting multiple people and leaving one (not the puncher) dripping in blood.
