@shunned_jon @Gotpeg For Jesus to say that he was alive before Abraham was would mean Jesus was better than him. When someone is older, they have more power and authority. This was the cultural view. To any Jew, Abraham would have been better then Jesus mainly because Abraham was older.

One of the questions that many ask is whether or not Jesus is God. This is an important question to consider because if he is not God it means we are worshipping someone other than God Almighty, the answer to this question directly affects our salvation. Have you thought of it?

@shunned_jon @Gotpeg There is no cultural significance of the term. You need to understand the cultural view of Abraham. Abraham was so important to the Jews that to them he was the equivalent of Christ for us. They claimed that being children of Abraham was a special title reserved for them.

The body of Jesus is the congregation, Jesus has appointed men inside that body to take the lead in it and to take care of that body. @flowerrfog Greetings, as a Jw this was not something we would do. Even when others around me do it. Obviously it's a personal decision whether to pray then or not. Last week went out for pizza and wine tasting 2 sisters prayed when their pizza came, I didn't feel the need to do the same.

We actually use a website like Google maps that gives you all the street names and house numbers and ppl living there, like a digital directory. We never had to leave our house to get addresses. So we basically have to go by assumptions now

@agent_a29 @yolandadelaine We leave people alone who tell us not to come to their houses. We respect their decision. As soon as someone says they don't want us to come to their houses we make a note of it tell the other members so they don't go to that house and everyone is happy 🙂
