Around 1:30am, a man in his early 20’s fell halfway down a cliff at Bonny Doon Beach and landed mid-cliff.

Firefighters used a rope system to recover him.

Unfortunately he
did not survive.

CAL FIRE, City of Santa Cruz Fire, CA State Parks, Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office, Santa Cruz Police, US Coastside Guard responded.
