@_mrchaturvedi @IAmSudhirMishra Basic definition of VPF isn't known to majority of the industry. It's loot by Cinemas,should be completely abolished. CCI wants public review, give against Exhibitors as much as possible. I have been Exhibitor, still I want VPF to go away.

@_mrchaturvedi @IAmSudhirMishra Basically CCI doesn't know what's VPF and why it was given. Sunset Clause is already over and Hollywood companies don't pay any more. Moreover VPF was for old analog screens who upgrade to digital. PVR INOX are charging for digital screens right from Day 1

@_mrchaturvedi According to the proposal submitted to the CCI, producers will no longer have to make any upfront payment. Instead, they can choose between a fixed exhibition SC (ESC) and a revised revenue-sharing arrangement under which their share of collection would be reduced by max of 7.5%

These PVR Inox wouldn't survived if it wasn't a merger and they were public limited

Sunset clause is over. Hollywood doesn't pay VPF any more. VPF is hindrance for wide release
