We appreciate the discussion at last night's Town Council budget vote regarding the important fiscal issues facing our Town. We believe it is all taxpayer's right to address their elected officials and were quite disappointed to see the Majority party deny the public that right.

Where is the outrage from the Trumbull DTC regarding Congresswoman Esty’s cover-up and payoff for abuse that took place in her office? The deafening silence from Trumbull Democrats can only be construed as tacit support for Esty. “Party over principal” should be their slogan.
Trumbull Democrats have no problem issuing Facebook and Twitter posts addressing state and local issues like outrage for Andrew McDonald’s failed nomination for Chief Justice of the CT Supreme Court, yet when a Connecticut democratic congresswoman covers up harassment. Crickets!
