Driving home from work tonight, the freeway came to a total standstill. California Highway Patrol cars and sheriff’s Tahoes were flying down the shoulder at high speed. At first, I figured it was a massive accident. Then my mind jumped to what I heard last week from real estate guys turned chaos negotiators, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner—that Iran could have a nuclear bomb in as little as a week.
