Here're the reasons why we decided to lead a CTO $TWC - TrumpWifCat:
- Created by @ClementWalter from @KakarotZkEvm, a key contributor to the #Starknet ecosystem
- Starknet uses #OP_CAT to scale #Bitcoin, so it needs a cat as a symbol for that
- The first cat on @Starknet
TVL doesn't tell the whole story - so we fixed it.
We’ve upgraded our analytics to give liquidity providers a more accurate view of active capital. Instead of relying on Total Value Locked (TVL), which includes inactive liquidity, we now use a market depth-based liquidity calculation focused on the 7-day realized volatility range.
This means:
- You see the liquidity that’s actually being used.
- APR is now based on active liquidity, so it better reflects your real earnings.
This provides a more realistic estimate of APR - built to help you make better decisions.

Ekubo EVM on Ethereum has a pool type call the Oracle Pool (aka Oracle extension). It lets anyone fetch token prices directly or via an oracle token (ETH on Ethereum, EKUBO on Starknet).
So far, @sendmoodz uses it for their frontend/backend app, and @OpusMoney uses it as a fallback oracle on Starknet.
If @ethereumfndn or an ETH whale dropped 7 figures into these pools (e.g. ETH/USDC Oracle pool), they could create a reliable, on-chain price source, a true public good; free to use, and fully on-chain for Ethereum devs 🫡

in the end, it was a goated decision by @sendmoodz.
3M UNI tokens vs. 20% of Ekubo's supply.
current numbaas:
- 3M UNI ≈ $18M
- 2M EKUBO (20%) ≈ $14M
market comparison:
- Uniswap Market Cap: $4B ($6.8B FDV)
- Ekubo Market Cap: $70M ($70M FDV)
that's a ~100x difference (FDV)
ofc Uniswap remains the OG of AMMs, but I don’t see any major growth catalysts there. Ekubo, however, has plenty.
also, thanks to this rejection, Ekubo became the first protocol to break the “low float, high FDV” curse, delivering one of the fairest token launches we've seen in ages. If the Uniswap DAO wants Ekubo shares, they can simply buy them on the open market.
i'm currently cooking the most in-depth article on Ekubo. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of free time to focus on it, but I'll ship it ASAP.
Ekubo protocol is simply too bullish to let you all sleep on it
