Understand This One Thing

The actual value does not change. Removing zeros is a regulatory adjustment, not an economic one. If a country eliminates three zeros, an item that cost 1,000 units would now cost 1 unit, but the purchasing power remains the same immediately after the change. Many people seem to have forgotten this part of the monetary process that I discussed many times.

A transitional period is essential. A dual-circulation period is typically necessary, during which the old and new currency are used simultaneously. This helps people get used to the new denominations and understand that the value is equivalent to the old currency. The European Commission, for example, notes that a dual-circulation period follows a changeover to the euro. This means if you bought your currency before this change takes place you will not be affected.

Now if you buy Iraqi Dinar after they drop the 3 zeros and you try to cash it in expecting some huge payout you will be disappointed. Because there will be no ROI that will change your life. You will be simply making a 1:1 trade with no difference for you in domestic USD once you exchange. Which is the most idiotic thing you can do. Especially if you been reading my info that has been telling you about this upcoming revaluation.
