$moonkey origin story
They picked the same day.
16 July 1969. Saturn V leaves the tower. Three men crawl toward a dead white rock.
16 July 2026. 12:34. Pump fun drops a mission patch on the timeline: total memetic domination. Wall of gods. Pepe. Dogs. Frogs. Everything that already ate a year. And this one is the only one dressed for the conditions it’s been dropped in.
Flip the clock.
12:34 backwards is 4.3.2.1.
Countdown. Ignition. Stowaway in the corner of the patch: a monkey in a spacesuit. No name. No chart. No CAPCOM. Just visor and black sky.
The coin is still on Earth.
The monkey is already on the wall.
10 minutes. 10 seconds.
Alon steps on the ticker. Twice.
Doesn’t plant a flag. Doesn’t read a speech.
Buys. Holds. Quiet flag. No cameras.
Then CT does what CT always does with moons. Looks away. Photographs other rocks.
For weeks $moonkey is the dark side. Same suit. No audience. A landing nobody booked.
Then somebody holds the collage up to the chart.
The visor looks back.
That’s the whole miracle. Not a livestream from the surface. A picture hanging in mission control the entire time.
1969 needed a nation.
This needed Pump fun, a 12:34 post time, two Alon buys, and a timeline that slept on the launch window.
4. 3. 2. 1.
Pump fun put him on the wall.
Alon bought.
The suit never came off.
We are still building.
