Magic (n.): people

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

Capitalism: has killed people

Socialism: has killed people

Communism: has killed people

Tsar bomba, the most powerful nuclear bomb in existence: has never killed people

🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

@MariGO2thepolls I think some people do express annoyance actively as targeted outrage even if they don't really intend to.

Then some people, of course, are bastards.

How did he know

[Will Sennett @Senn_Spud]

So funny when athletes sign these long contracts. Oh you’re gonna be playing for the Yankees in 2031? Buddy the fog is gonna consume us in 2027. The fog is coming. The fog is coming. The fog is coming

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@Sur_Taka @MoneyWave78 It's ai slop, not meant to make sense

@LeoRandger I suppose that's true

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

Someone argued this to me once while I was working at a gas station; I tried in vain to explain math in a way that he could accept, but it was such a shocking misconception that I wasn't successful on the fly. He wound up paying for too much gas on accident.

been staring at this for awhile bc wdym 1 multiplied by 1 isn’t 2. Like that doesn’t make sense; I have a donut and I multiply that donut by another donut: now I have 2 donuts.

God I love card games

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@ShadowWasntHere @HeyzeusTCG Yeah a bit hard to tell, ultimately you're definitely right that it's not really "grinding locals" friendly

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@ShadowWasntHere @HeyzeusTCG Doesn't this describe Skirmishes being more or less split into Nexus Cups and Challenge Series? And the latter does give points.

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@forzeth What is to be done about this, even analytically? I don't even know if it can be called illiteracy, it's some deeper issue.

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

Where did the "aoe slop" term come from?

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

Delightful

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@samdsherman Always delighted to see you there!

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

Betting dollars to donuts doesn't make sense as a phrase. I love donuts!

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@JusJusReal That makes sense

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@MinModulation She's more than a bit kooky herself

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@RyleeXIII Interesting, fair. I don't understand how shadowbanning works because it definitely screws with people but not like wholly; is it like some people just never see you, or it throttles the frequency across the board but not quite to zero? Very weird to me.

[Eloquent🏺Elephant @Trunkulent]

@Ky_TCG This is classical Magic design! Lots of inspiration from there, although I'm not sure why they insisted on calling it the chain like yu-gi-oh does.
