Most of the time, memories bring tears, but tears of joy or tears of sorrow are completely different feelings. Yesterday, September 6th, was City Day in Druzhkivka. Now this frontline city in the Donetsk region has found itself at the epicenter of hostilities. The video you are seeing is the soul of a time that was and is in many places across my country. The residents of Druzhkivka have seen a lot of video footage over the years of the war and know how badly their home is already destroyed. But yesterday everything resurfaced in memory, and those who had the opportunity simply wanted to see "memories," and today's technology makes that possible. The year 2021 - this exact video is what you can also see, what that day was like, a holiday for the local residents, their city day. None of us can say for sure what awaits each of us, but most likely, it's better not to know... You try to do everything possible in your life, hoping for positive outcomes and carrying hope within yourself. But... external circumstances, the powerful people of this world can upend the destinies of millions. This is what is happening in my country.

Today, September 6, is Druzhkivka City Day.

Now this front-line city in the Donetsk region has found itself at the epicenter of the fighting. The warriors of the 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade, together with other units of the Defense Forces, are holding the city’s defense against the russian occupiers. Yet despite the line of contact being more than 10 kilometers from the outskirts of Druzhkivka, russian forces are destroying the city with guided aerial bombs, artillery and drones.

We always remember Druzhkivka’s peaceful days with warmth. The city became a refuge and a reliable rear base during the defense of Bakhmut, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar and Kostiantynivka. Today, we watch with sorrow as the russians destroy Druzhkivka, and we are doing everything we can to prevent them from advancing toward the city.

Druzhkivka is an integral part of the Sloviansk–Kramatorsk urban agglomeration and the main "gateway" to Kramatorsk. That makes it critically important for the defense of the Donetsk region, and the Defense Forces are doing everything possible to counter the enemy’s advance toward the city.

On Druzhkivka City Day, we stand with everyone for whom, despite russian aggression, the city remains a symbol of one shared home.

The combat footage follows “Mozzie,” an Australian combat medic serving with Med Team Alpha, during a combat mission in Stepnohirsk, where the group was tasked with clearing a high-rise building. Russian troops had taken up positions on one of the floors, forcing Mozzie and his team to push through the building floor by floor. 2:32

When they reached the occupied level, heavy fighting erupted at close range. 16:55 One of the soldiers was wounded, 17:10 and Mozzie immediately began rendering first aid. While he was treating the wounded man, the enemy threw a grenade, further escalating the situation. 18:34

The team held the position long enough to stabilize the wounded soldier before pulling him off the floor and moving him down through the building for casualty evacuation.

Mozzie was recently killed in action in Ukraine. He is remembered by those who served alongside him as a dedicated combat medic who repeatedly put himself in danger to treat and evacuate wounded soldiers. This footage documents one of those missions and serves as a tribute to his service and sacrifice. RIP!!!!!!!

While the West struggles to arm Ukraine, China has solved Russia’s production problem.

Russia now produces 60–70 Iskander-Ms a month, up at least 66% in a year, while Ukraine expends 60–180 Patriot interceptors monthly, more than the entire West can build. PAC-3 output will not reach 650 a year before 2027, and Washington still withholds production licences.

Behind Russia’s surge stands Beijing. China supplies around 70% of Russia’s ammonium perchlorate imports, the oxidiser that tripled the Iskander line, alongside the precision machine tools, microprocessors and lithium batteries CSIS documented in January. Roughly 80% of the critical electronics in Russian drones are Chinese-origin.

Beijing sells no missiles and can therefore claim neutrality. But strip out the Chinese inputs and Russia’s production surge collapses. Ukraine struggles because the West cannot produce what its ally consumes while China has made sure Russia never faces that constraint.
