Article 55 of IHR
These amendments have not been delivered on time!
The final package is NOT ready as it is clear WGIHR cannot agree on many things.
What does this mean?
It means that they CANNOT be considered this year at the WHO General Assembly!

Please start sharing this information with your officials and make sure they do something about it.

WHO can try to come back next year but in 2024 it is over for them and we need to make sure it really is!!!

While you were sleeping and were occupied with lots that is being thrown at you, UN has been preparing PACT FOR THE FUTURE.
This Pact is all about Agenda 2030, global governance and it already has a zero draft.
There is a timeline for it and public consultation that no one told you about, which are happening 21st February 2024.
YOUR OWN GOVERMENTS are suppose to respond with any amendments to negotiating of this PACT by 12th of February.

The Pact is to be signed on 22nd September 2024 in NY at the UN General Assembly.

The deadline for delivering IHR amendments to all the countries which would allow to proceed them in May 2024 at the General assembly HAS PASSED!
According to article 55 it need to be delivered at least 4 months before the General Assembly.
As the document is not ready not has it been delivered this amendments cannot happen!

OK so if it will not then the best way to go forward is taking the WHO out of the agreement as the advising body and letting the countries create their own new agency without any of WHO people. As you claim you are only helping us to agree terms you should not be in decision making capacity then.

The reason TRUST needs rebuilding is because it was BROKEN in first place.
WE do not need rebuilding TRUST by private corporations and NGOs negotiating in secret with OUR governmental representatives.
WE need OUR governmental representatives to stop listening to big corporations and START LISTENING to us THE PEOPLE.

What do we want?

Enhancing Transparency and Empowering Citizens

1. Mandating greater transparency by calling for the publication of agendas, meeting minutes, internal reports, e-mails, and SMS.

2. Disclosing lobbying activities by establishing a public register of lobbyists names.

3. Prohibiting secretive meetings: EU officials should not participate alone in secret and secretive meetings.

4. Evaluating public interest over private interest: Mechanisms should be set up to evaluate the prevalence of public interest over private interest, especially concerning trade secrets that may affect public policy objectives like Public Health.

5. Establishing sanctions for violations: Effective sanctions and penalties should be put in place for EU officials who violate these rules.
