In addition to our crisis work we have a number of weekly activities to help our customers avoid isolation.

Since the 1st October the Lantern has paid for 20 people to move into private rented accommadation.

Weymouth and Portland has the highest rate of homelessness in Dorset.

We have a number of dedicated services working together. The problem is finding access to sustainable acoomadation. The Hub we have established is better linking services.

We have extended our premises. Part of our new building has a workshop for "Dave".

3 months ago Dave was homeless. The Lantern housed him and now he has started his own furniture restoration buisness from our building.
