A note that I am terrible at updating ALL the socials every time. I'm much more active on Instagram and Facebook. Find me here: https://t.co/xUAi8T5IdR
What stood out to me today is that good people are showing up. They're at provincial tables and at community league meetings. And when we work together, that’s when real change happens and we make positive changes in our schools and our communities.
Those two conversations might seem worlds apart, but they’re deeply connected. Big-system advocacy & local community concerns are both essential pieces of the same work. Thanks to everyone who made them possible and participated. It takes work to make room at your table.
My life for the last few months:
"Oh you're Sarah Doll!? I've seen your signs!"
And so it continues.... 😍🥰
Thank you @lynnwoodschool for the warm and fuzzies today!
What have I been up to? Every millennial's nightmare...setting up and remembering a whole bunch of new passwords.
Regular updates are coming soon once orientation is complete and we dig into the work. Sign up here for regular emails from me:
We have an incredible board, each of us dedicated to protecting and defending public education and ready to work hard on behalf of our students and staff. Looking forward to the road ahead. #epsb#publiceducation#edmonton 2/2
Today it was an absolute privilege to be sworn in as Ward E Trustee for Edmonton Public School Division. I'm honoured to have been chosen to represent you. Thank you for trusting me with your students and your communities. 1/2
We did it, Ward E!
Thank you to everyone who voted, donated, volunteered, or reminded me what I was working for throughout this campaign. You made this happen, and I’m so grateful.
The voters sent a clear message. It’s time to shake things up and bring some new energy into this role. It’s time to dig in and see what we can improve now, while we all fight the bigger fight together. So let’s get to work!
