I’ve been playing a lot of Enter the Gungeon recently and I both hate and love it in equal measure. It irritates the hell out of me and yet I can’t stop saying, “Just one more try.”

Also the Tunic physical release is gorgeous and you should all buy it.

Weirdly specific rant but every single time I’ve tried to contact a tradesman to fix issues with my house, they either fail to show up, ghost us, or both. How do these people always have good reviews if they never reply to anyone or even turn up?

I just discovered that a remake of seminal classic The Room is due for release next month and I have such a complex series of emotions right now.

@pixl_man I think the lack of real feedback on parry/blocks works against it too. Like sometimes I take no damage but there’s no visual effect, sometimes there is one, sometimes I take damage. That definitely needs fine tuning. The dash is definitely way too short though.

Trying out the Lies of P demo and I’m really torn. Looks great, the controls are responsive but it just feels slightly too slow. Dodge is weirdly weighty, don’t like that you can’t jump without sprinting, no animation cancel. I think it needs speeding up just a little more.

@ChewiNova For sure, I hated the sprint jump in DkS1 too. I hope the dodge can be improved. I’ll reserve judgement for the final release!

With all the changes Phantom Liberty will bring to the base game, I’m wondering if it will still be possible to play @CyberpunkGame in its current style after the release. Would be interesting to compare and contrast the two without having to roll back patches.

It should be illegal for a game to have a “microtransaction” in it that is more than the cost of the game itself.
