Mohammad Kabir, 24, and Ahmad Mulakhil 23, both Afghan nationals,
saw the 12yr old schoolgirl playing on a zip wire at a park in Nuneaton, Warks, last July. The alleged victim told Warwick Crown Court the pair were " foreign" and used their mobile phones to translate.
The girl said, when she told them she was only 12 they told her they "didn't care": Mr Kabir tried to strangle the child before she was repeatedly raped by Mulakhil.
Kabir has been charged with intentional strangulation, intent to commit a sexual offence (rape) and attempting to take a child.
Mulakhil has been charged with three counts of rape of a female child under 13, abducting a child, and two counts of sexual assault and one count of taking indecent photos of a child.
