@RichBurlew banned me from his forum. https://t.co/3s2ptOGPm5 I did not violate any rules. https://t.co/P7wNsBsGZz Burlew made a mistake cause in part by my ASD which he has failed to correct. By failing to unban me, he is committing disability discrimination. Reverse the ban!
@NickPiers I know I said that. But it’s a legitimate question. Not responding is one thing. Not responding to me but responding to questions answered 4 years ago on the forum? Irresponsible.
@RichBurlew@criticalquit Are you sure it’s the right thing to answer trivial questions like this but ignore serious concerns regarding your attitude to the disabled and your conduct on the forum?
@RichBurlew Despite giving him an extensive grace period, Burlew has refused to negotiate. Therefore I will reveal a great secret about him. Anyone familiar with OOTS knows about Burlews hand injury sustained in September 2012. I am here to tell you this “injury” is non-existent.
@Blahdeeblah1245 I am going to request something which Burlew has not requested of me yet. Please stop this whole "anti" account business. If Burlew told me to please stop, I would. I would be happy to unblock you if that's what this is really about. Ok?
@NickPiers @JasonSticha In addition, despite the polite email I sent, I was not given a proper explaination nor was there a proper appeal procedure. There should have been.
@NickPiers @JasonSticha The forum rules are at their core, designed to deal with isolated one time incidents. Furthermore, my forum record was perfect and I hadn’t done anything on the Kickstarter for over three months.
@JasonSticha @NickPiers It’s not just in employee and employer. It’s also in customer/provider of services relations where reasonable adjustments must be made.
@JasonSticha @NickPiers The manager should take adjustments of the behaviour into account. I had a similar problem to the one you described at the restaurant. I came back the next day to apologise and explain myself and the manager gave me a warning and let me back into the store. Adjustments.
@JasonSticha @NickPiers It is discrimination if the manager refuses to consider the greater context of why you cursed and doesn’t listen to your version of events. Why did they curse in the restaurant. Did someone provoke them. Was this my normal behaviour at the restaurant? All important.
@NickPiers @JasonSticha So you agree that reasonable adjustments should not be provided to those with disorders. That they are presumed malicious rather than properly understood? Surely instead of punching down at myself, you should be punching up and asking for reforms of the rules?
@NickPiers @JasonSticha I’m not strictly using the disorder as an excuse. However neither of you or Burlew are taking it properly into account and are behaving as if I’m a malicious back patter. This is a textbook failure to apply reasonable adjustments.
@NickPiers @JasonSticha Had the positions been reversed I would have apologised for not considering the other persons condition and unbanned them, but given a 100 point permanent infraction and a warning about the consequences of future behaviour. This would be considered a reasonable adjustment. I
@NickPiers Both you and @JasonSticha have flawed perception. You continue to insist I was behaving maliciously in the thread and fail to believe explanations to the contrary. Reasonable adjustments should have been made to account for my disorder preventing me seeing the big picture.
