According to a newly released intelligence assessment from the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Canada’s federal police service), obtained by Global News, Canada’s national police force described the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang as a violent international criminal organization involved in extortion, drug trafficking, money laundering, and contract killings.

The report also states that the gang has allegedly been "acting on behalf of the Indian government" while carrying out criminal activities in Canada.

RCMP investigators say the group's reach now extends across North America, Europe, and the Gulf states. Canadian authorities have linked the organization to extortion networks, shootings, and violence targeting members of Canada's South Asian community.
