News- despite man’s pride that kicks and screams and rebels against His Creator- yes, we the creation, by DEFINITION are dependent on our Creator. Jesus said “I am the Vine- you are the branches. Apart from Me, you can do nothing.’
Yes, contrary to our arrogant tendency to be our own authority, true freedom is only achieved when we surrender our ‘personal sovereignty’ to the very one who knit each of us together. Not to kings and governments, but to Him who is above all.
“…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Jesus cannot be reduced to a ‘consciousness.’ He is a Man. The only One who is both fully man, and fully God. And we don’t get to change and massage His attributes to fit our agendas. You speak of “Christ consciousness” but strip Him of His attributes because you do not know Him.
“Accusing” others of making themselves gods? Not an accusation. A fact. One’s God is who they grant authority to in their life. Who they submit to. We either submit to Him and his Truth- or to ourselves, retaining only our own authority, and whatever we choose to imagine or that tickles our ears.
Submitting to, and following Him is not “waiting for rescue.” Jesus taught us to “occupy (a military term) until he comes back.” this is a call to be offensive and not defensive. To advance his kingdom and his principles in our world against the forces of darkness and bondage.
It all comes down to this. If we refuse to acknowledge that we are sinners and fall short of the glory of our Holy Creator, then we see no need for atonement and the sacrifice he made for our sin. Without receiving this gift the Father gave through His one and only Son, there will be no forgiveness of sins. But only a certain expectation of judgment.
True- His likeness and 'spark' is within us. True- our mandate is not to 'wait for rescue.' And true- we are called to fight for self governance and sovereignty. The essence of the American Revolution, limited govt, checks, balances, etc.
But your conclusion is wrong. Any global awakening of sovereignty is meaningless without the common understanding that it is all for King Jesus. All to prepare His way and HIS kingdom. Not ours. His kingdom ushers in true sovereignty and freedom. Only when men bow to Him alone, can our nations exist in freedom, sovereignty and prosperity.
