One fragile speck of light in the vast universe.✨
“That’s here. That’s home. That’s us.”
Elon Musk reads Carl Sagan’s Pale Blue Dot. A timeless reminder of our shared humanity.
EMERGENCY MISSION
Food.
From our veteran: We have absolutely no food left. No bread. No lunch meat. We have nothing left. Went to the church and they gave us two cans of tuna and some rice! Ma’am I don’t what to do??? A couple of people said maybe you could loan me a hundred bucks until Friday so we can get groceries? Please? I just hate for mom to have to be hungry at this point in her life.
$200 Let’s do this now. We are vetting as I raise this. Let’s roll. We will instruct him there is no payback.

Eviction Mission
Meet 77 y/o Elenor Vesstea, from Florida.
Elenor served in the USCG for 8 years back during the later years of the Vietnam era. She achieved rank of HM3, before receiving an honorable discharge, per Form DD 256CG. That’s quite an accomplishment for a woman of that day.
Now Elenor faces eviction & potential homelessness in her senior years, as she’s caring for two disabled kids.
Let’s see if we can stand in this gap.

@JRM58506966 And let’s not forget that many of them were drafted — they had no choice. That only adds another layer to what they endured. 🙏🪖

Somewhere along the way we started treating basic human decency as if it were a bold political position.
It isn’t.
It is simply the refusal to treat other people as less than human—no matter how different they are. It is the quiet decision not to cheer when someone you dislike suffers. It is the refusal to invent clever reasons why some lives suddenly matter less, or why cruelty is acceptable when aimed at the right targets. It is the willingness to extend fairness and restraint even when no one is watching and no points are being scored.
Somewhere we forgot that this is not activism. It is not bravery. It is not a “side.”
It is the minimum standard that holds everything else together.
Human decency is not a political position.
It is the floor.
Everything else is decoration—or destruction.
@WarIsHellX Every time I see photos like this I’m left speechless. Young men, many of them still teenagers, doing the extraordinary so that future generations could breathe free. How could we ever forget?

Decency is the guardrail.
It’s the quiet force that keeps power from becoming tyranny, strength from becoming cruelty, and common sense from becoming clever self-interest.
