@QPatriotVoice
Hello, I love the way you stand for what is right. Please follow me and let's fight for truth.
My name is Alex and I have a ministry called "In Defense of the Truth".
My main goal is to enlighten people by giving evidence for God.
God's word tells us that all of humanity are born into this world separated from a Holy God. 2000 years ago God entered into our world as Jesus the Christ. Jesus out of love, died for our sins and rose from the dead.
Now mankind is able to have a relationship with his Creator.
Something cannot come out of nothing, which means that something always was. Either the universe is eternal or there is a Creator of the universe that is eternal. The incredible amounts of programmed information in all life proves that there is an Intelligent Eternal Creator.
God gave us the ability to think. A Creator would communicate with His creatures to tell us what the purpose of life is.
The Bible claims to be God's communication to us. It is miraculously proved to be God's Word by 25,000 archaeological finds and 2000 prophecies that have come true.
Jesus was prophesied to be God in the flesh. Jesus claimed to be God. Jesus did miracles that only God could do. Jesus calmed the storm, healed people, walked on water, raised the dead and raised Himself from the dead. His disciples and eyewitnesses claimed Jesus was God.
Jesus said if you believe in me you will have eternal life. In other words if you turn your life to Jesus as your Lord God you become a new creation. You will be changed from the inside out, forgiven and be able to have fellowship with your Creator and a life that counts.
Jesus said deny yourself and follow Me, who loses his life will gain it.
What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
Ask God to give you the faith to truly turn your life to Jesus as your Lord.
Then as a true Christian your life will have purpose, meaning and count for eternity.

⚖️ THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL EXPOSED
What the Bible Teaches About Success and Life in Christ
Christianity did not begin as a system for personal advancement. It did not promise wealth, ease, or comfort. From the beginning, it was a call to die to self, submit to God, and live unto Him. The modern prosperity gospel is not a refinement of Christianity. It is a departure from it.
❓ THE QUESTION THAT MUST BE ASKED
Before error can be exposed, truth must be defined.
🔹 What does God define as success
🔹 What does Scripture define as blessing
🔹 What does real Christianity actually look like
Modern church culture often assumes that visible success equals God’s favor. Scripture never teaches this — and neither did the early church.
🌱 SOWING AND REAPING — NOT A MONEY FORMULA
“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” — Galatians 6:7
This verse is routinely misused as a financial promise. Paul immediately explains what he means.
“The one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” — Galatians 6:8
Paul is describing spiritual formation, not financial multiplication.
🔹 Character formation
🔹 Moral consequence
🔹 Eternal outcome
Sowing and reaping is about who you become, not what you acquire.
👑 JESUS’ DEFINITION OF SUCCESS (THE HEART ISSUE)
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth.” — Matthew 6:19
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21
Christianity does not ask what you own. It asks what owns you.
“You cannot serve God and money.” — Matthew 6:24
Any theology that trains believers to pursue material gain through God reorders the heart away from Him.
📐 SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM (Our Priority Is God)
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.” — Matthew 6:33
This command establishes priority, not prosperity.
🔹 God first
🔹 His will first
🔹 His glory first
Provision follows because God is faithful — not because faith manipulates Him.
🏛️ THE APOSTOLIC AND HISTORIC PATTERN
Paul did not model prosperity.
“We hunger and thirst… and are homeless.” — 1 Corinthians 4:11
“I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.” — Philippians 4:11
The New Testament pattern is not abundance. It is faithfulness, endurance, and peace under trial. The early church agreed.
“The Christian expects no reward from this world.” — Tertullian
“The possession of wealth is not condemned, but the love of it is deadly to the soul.” — Clement of Alexandria
“Let us learn to live according to Christianity, not according to wealth.” — Ignatius of Antioch
🔹 Suffering was expected
🔹 Holiness was pursued
🔹 Success was measured by faithfulness
⚠️ WHAT THE PROSPERITY / WORD-FAITH GOSPEL ACTUALLY TEACHES
Once the biblical foundation is clear, the counterfeit becomes obvious.
🔹 God wants every believer materially wealthy
🔹 Faith is a force that can be activated
🔹 Words create reality
🔹 Giving obligates God
🔹 Expectation places a demand on God
🔹 Poverty or sickness reflects weak faith
This system does not deny Scripture outright. It redefines biblical language.
🔹 Faith becomes a mechanism
🔹 Blessing becomes entitlement
🔹 Giving becomes leverage
🔹 God becomes a means to self
🔹 WHAT BIBLICAL FAITH ACTUALLY IS (CLARIFIED)
Biblical faith is not a force. It is not positive thinking. It is not confidence in outcomes. Biblical faith is:
🔹 Trust in God’s character
🔹 Submission to God’s will
🔹 Obedience to God’s word
Faith rests in who God is, whether the outcome is gain or loss.
🧾 NAMING MODERN TEACHERS — BY THEIR OWN WORDS
This is not personal. It is doctrinal.
Joel Osteen
“God wants us to prosper financially, to have plenty of money.”
🔹 Refutation:
“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself.” — Matthew 16:24
Kenneth Copeland
“Faith is a force, and words are the containers of that force.”
🔹 Refutation:
Faith in Scripture is trust in God, not a power God uses.
Benny Hinn
“Sow a seed of $1,000 and God will heal you.”
@TaraBull EVIL: FINGERPRINTS OF SATAN - EVIDENCE FOR GOD
(PART 2 OF 5)

@TaraBull EVIL: FINGERPRINTS OF SATAN - EVIDENCE FOR GOD
(PART 1 OF 5)
*Why is it that Christianity is the only religion that has God, by His Grace, paying the price for mankind's sin, saving us from hell but other religions try to appease God by rituals and works?
https://t.co/tqHBzWgp8F
EVIL: THE FINGER PRINTS
Why is there evil, where does it come from and why is there so much of it?
The existence of evil is one of the best proofs for God, the Bible and Christianity.
Atheism’s strongest argument against God is to say, There can’t be a good God if He allows evil in the world.
Of course the vast amounts of programmed information in all life already proves a highly intelligent Creator.
But a good God can exist and by God allowing us to have free will to reject Him and His laws evil can exist also.
In fact there can't even be good or evil unless there is a God.
Evil is the destruction of good but there has to be an ultimate authority to say what is good or evil and that can only come from the Creator of the universe.
The Bible warns us that there are evil and deceptions in this world. The Bible tells us the entity Satan is the ruler of this world and calls him” the father of lies” and “the great deceiver”. 1 John 5:19 says, “the whole world lies in the power of the evil one” and 2 Cor. 4:4 says, “the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers.
When mankind’s first representatives chose to follow Satan’s advice over God’s will they gave Satan rule over us and the world.
When Jesus was being tempted, Satan showed him all the kingdoms of the world and said, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been given to me, and I give it to whom I will.” Luke 4:5
In Genesis when Satan tempted Eve he put doubt in her heart,” Did God actually say that?” Then he lied by saying “you shall not die”, he then used her pride by saying “your eyes will be open and you shall be like God. Satan deceived Adam and Eve to follow their own will and effort over God’s will.
Satan has been deceiving mankind the same way ever since.
Satan always lies, causes doubt on God’s word and creates counterfeit religions that require man’s own efforts for salvation.
Everyone of these false religions twist the bible and deny that Jesus is God in the flesh.
Everyone of these deceptive religions have salvation by some kind of human works or rituals to appease God.
This evil and these deceptions are great proof that Satan is real and the Bible is true.
It is no coincidence that out of all the thousands of religions in the world only Christianity has God coming and saving man by HIS grace without works.
Every other religion is a by works salvation and some don’t even have anyway to reach God.
*All the pagan religions require works and rituals.
*Judism used to required animal sacrifice for forgiveness (which foreshadowed Jesus’ sacrifice for sin) but now that has been done away with and you just say I’m sorry God.
*In Islam you are forced to follow rules and cannot know if you have eternal life it is just if Allah wills.
*Buddism which is an off shoot of Hinduism and doesn’t know if there even is a God.
*Mormonism requires works and rituals. The founder Joseph smith taught if you were not a Mormon you would go to hell now they teach even non Mormons go to paradise and the only way you can go to hell is if you become a Mormon and then reject Mormonism.
*Hinduism requires works and enlightenment to get off the karmic wheel of reincarnation and your goal is to be absorbed into the universal energy. Hinduism believes one universe is 311 Trillion years one breath of Vishnu. When he exhales thousands of universe form.
*Catholicism locks you into a system of works and rituals from birth until death then you most likely go to purgatory, (which is not in the bible.)
In Catholicism you can’t ever know if you are saved, that is called “the sin of presumption.”
But the Bible says “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.
And “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of god is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Jesus put it this way, “Enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate that leads to destruction and those who enter by it are many.
⚠️ DISCERNMENT IN THE LAST DAYS: NOT EVERY “SPIRITUAL” MAN IS FROM GOD
Jesus warned that deception would increase in the last days.
“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders…” (Matthew 24:24)
Not every man standing in a robe, shouting in a pulpit, or performing dramatic spiritual displays is speaking by the Holy Spirit.
We are commanded to test everything:
“Test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” (1 John 4:1)
🚨 THE BIBLE’S STANDARD: TRUTH OVER EMOTION
God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). True worship is grounded in truth, not spectacle, hype, or emotional manipulation.
Jesus said:
“You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16)
Fruit is not volume. Fruit is not performance. Fruit is doctrine, holiness, and faithfulness to Christ.
❗ THE CORE TEST: WHAT DO THEY TEACH ABOUT JESUS?
Every movement must be tested here:
Do they confess Jesus Christ as Lord and fully God?
Do they preach salvation by grace through faith alone? (Ephesians 2:8–9)
Or do they add human systems, rituals, prosperity formulas, or mediator figures?
Because Scripture is clear:
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:5)
And:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
No added mediators. No substitutes. No competing systems.
⚖️ WARNING: FALSE GOSPELS ALWAYS REDEFINE CHRISTIANITY
Throughout history, deception doesn’t usually deny Jesus outright—it redefines Him or adds to His work.
Paul warned:
“If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8)
Any message that shifts salvation away from Christ alone—whether toward works, rituals, prosperity, or human authority structures—is not the gospel.
🕯️ FINAL WORD
The answer is not reacting emotionally to individuals, but standing firmly on Scripture.
Jesus said the gate is narrow and few find it (Matthew 7:14). That means discernment matters more than ever.
Stay grounded in the Word. Test everything. Hold fast to Christ alone.
✝️ Do Not Grieve the Holy Spirit of God (Ephesians 4:30)
🔹 The Person and Presence of the Spirit
The Holy Spirit is not a force or an energy — He is God Himself, the third Person of the Trinity. He is personal, loving, and holy. When you were born again, He came to dwell inside you.
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
Because He is a Person, He can be grieved — He feels sorrow when we sin. And because He is God, grieving Him is no small matter.
🔹 The Relational Picture
Think of someone you dearly love — a spouse, a child, a parent, a close friend. When you wound them, it hurts you too, because you care about their heart.
How much more should it break our hearts to grieve the Holy Spirit? He loves us infinitely more than any earthly relationship. He sealed us for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30). He comforts us, counsels us, and empowers us. And most of all, He points us to Jesus, who bore our sins and took our eternal hell on the cross.
If it hurts you to grieve a loved one, how much more should it hurt to grieve the Lord who died for you?
🔹 What Grieves the Spirit
Paul gives us specific examples in Ephesians 4:
🔸 Lying or deceit (v. 25)
🔸 Sinful anger that festers (vv. 26–27)
🔸 Stealing instead of working and giving (v. 28)
🔸 Corrupt, harsh, or careless words (v. 29)
🔸 Bitterness, rage, malice, slander (v. 31)
🔸 Unforgiveness (v. 32)
But Scripture makes clear there’s more:
🔸 Sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3). From lust on a screen to pornography to fornication, all impurity desecrates His temple and wounds His heart.
🔸 Worldliness (1 John 2:15). Loving the world’s pleasures, entertainment, and approval more than Christ quenches His fire.
🔸 Neglecting Christ (John 15:26). The Spirit testifies of Jesus. When we fail to exalt Him or witness to others, we sadden the Spirit.
🔸 Selfishness. Living for self instead of glorifying God and loving others contradicts His nature.
Charles Spurgeon said it plainly:
“He is grieved when He sees you love worldly things better than you love Him.”
🔹 Why It Matters
Grieving the Spirit has real consequences:
🔸 Loss of intimacy — prayer feels dry, Scripture feels distant, worship feels empty
🔸 Loss of joy — sin robs us of the delight of walking with Christ
🔸 Loss of power — our witness and ministry lose Spirit-filled effectiveness
🔸 Loss of eternal reward — our works become wood, hay, and stubble instead of jewels that glorify Christ (1 Corinthians 3:12–15)
But when we please the Spirit:
🔸 He fills us with His fruit (Galatians 5:22–23)
🔸 He empowers our prayers and witness
🔸 He produces eternal treasures that will never burn away
🔸 He brings us close to Christ in daily communion
🔹 How to Stop Grieving Him
🔸 Confess quickly (1 John 1:9). Don’t excuse sin — agree with God
🔸 Repent sincerely (Acts 3:19). Turn from impurity, bitterness, and worldliness
🔸 Walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16). Yield daily to His leading
🔸 Guard your purity (1 Corinthians 6:18). Flee sexual sin and worldly compromise
🔸 Love Christ supremely (John 15:26). Exalt Him in your life, words, and choices
🔹 A Warning: Examine Yourself
Paul said: “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith.” (2 Corinthians 13:5). Jesus warned: “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord,’ … and I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me.’” (Matthew 7:22–23).
If your life is marked by habitual sin with no conviction, a love for the world instead of God, continual grieving of the Spirit without repentance — then you must consider whether you truly belong to Christ.
There are many who profess Christ but do not possess Him. True salvation always produces repentance, surrender, and a new heart that hates grieving the One we love.
🔹 If you are in Christ, live for God's glory.
🌿 Abiding in Christ:
Living a Life That Counts for Eternity
📖 JESUS SAID ABIDE IN ME
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” -- John 15
🌿 One of Jesus’ Clearest Self-Revelations
This passage is one of the clearest teachings Jesus Christ ever gave concerning who He is and how the Christian life actually works.
Jesus is not speaking poetically or symbolically in a mild way.
He is making a spiritual and ontological claim about reality itself.
When He says, “Abide in Me… apart from Me you can do nothing,” He is describing how life, power, fruit, and eternal significance truly function.
🧠 What Does “Abide in Me” Mean?
The Greek word meno means:
🔹 remain
🔹 dwell
🔹 live in
🔹 be united to
Jesus is not saying: “Follow my teachings”
or
“Think about me sometimes”
He is saying: Your spiritual life must continually remain united to Me.
That alone places Him far beyond a prophet or moral teacher.
He presents Himself as the source of life.
⚠️ “Apart From Me You Can Do Nothing”
This statement must not be softened.
Jesus does not say:
🔹 apart from God
🔹 apart from prayer
🔹 apart from obedience
He says: apart from Me.
Spiritually, that means:
🔹 no spiritual life
🔹 no righteousness
🔹 no fruit
🔹 no salvation
🔹 no power
🔹 no communion with God
No prophet ever spoke like this.
No angel ever spoke like this.
Jesus is teaching that all spiritual life flows through Him.
👑 What This Reveals About Who Jesus Is
Jesus is not the Father, and He is not the Holy Spirit.
Yet He shares the same divine essence.
When He says, “I in you,” He claims the ability to indwell believers spiritually — something only God can do.
This aligns with Scripture:
🔹 “In Him was life”
🔹 “He gives eternal life”
🔹 “In Him all things hold together”
Jesus teaches as God does — because He is God.
🌱 Why the Vine Imagery Matters:
🔹 God alone was Israel’s source of life
Now Jesus says: “I am the true vine.”
A branch does not produce fruit by effort.
It produces fruit by remaining connected.
This is not moral influence.
This is divine life flowing through union with Christ.
🌾 What Is the “Fruit” Jesus Promises?
When Jesus says those who abide in Him will “bear much fruit,” He is not speaking narrowly.
Fruit is not merely:
🔹 religious activity
🔹 good intentions
🔹 outward success
In Scripture, fruit means being used by God to accomplish the will of God for the glory of God.
Fruit is eternal usefulness.
🌾 Fruit Means Participating in God’s Work
Fruit includes:
🔹 obedience that honors God
🔹 Christlike character formed in us
🔹 using spiritual gifts within the church
🔹 building up the body of Christ
🔹 loving and serving others
🔹 witnessing to the gospel
🔹 evangelizing and seeing souls saved
🔹 planting seeds and watering seeds
Some plant.
Some water.
God gives the increase.
Only what flows from abiding in Christ counts.
⚠️ Why “Apart From Me You Can Do Nothing” Is So Serious
Jesus does not say: “You can do less without Me.”
He says: “You can do nothing.”
That means:
🔹 works done in the flesh
🔹 ministry outside God’s will
🔹 activity driven by pride or self-effort
🔹 success defined by the world
may look impressive —
but it has no eternal value.
It does not last.
It does not endure judgment.
It does not follow you into eternity.
A life lived outside God’s will is a wasted life, no matter how busy or admired.
⏳ Why Abiding Makes Life Matter Eternally
When you abide in Christ:
🔹 your life aligns with God’s purposes
🔹 your obedience carries eternal weight
🔹 your service matters forever
🔹 your witness participates in saving souls
🔹 your suffering is not wasted
🔹 your life echoes into eternity
Only what is done in Christ endures forever.
Abide in Christ.
Walk in the Spirit.
Let God use you

This is more than a channel—it’s a ministry rooted in evidence and love. From the intricate design of life to the historical reliability of Scripture, I’m here to equip you with truth. New videos are coming soon—stay tuned and let’s build a movement for God and country!
Your tradition elevates Mary as the “Queen of Heaven” and teaches, that Mary is co-redemptrix with Christ —that she participates in redemption alongside Jesus for salvation!
That is a serious blasphemy, because it places a created human being in a role that Scripture reserves for Christ alone.
It also presents Mary as sinless (like Jesus), "but all have sinned" including Mary, perpetually a virgin ( with no evidence and for no reason), assumed into heaven (also like Jesus also blasphemy), and even as someone who hears and responds to millions of prayers across the world.
But these attributes belong to God alone. This effectively assigns her functions that are divine in nature.
Scripture is clear on this issue:
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:5)
Not Mary.
Not priests.
Not saints.
Christ alone is the mediator.
Jesus Himself said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
That statement excludes every other claimed mediator.
The doctrine of co-redemptrix directly conflicts with this, because it adds another participant to salvation.
But salvation is the finished work of Christ alone—nothing and no one contributes to it.
You also cannot find these Marian doctrines grounded in the teaching sections of the New Testament.
In fact Mary is not even important enough to mention.
The epistles—where Christian doctrine is most clearly defined—are centered entirely on Christ, the gospel, and the believer’s relationship to Him.
Mary is not presented as a mediator, co-redeemer, or heavenly intercessor.
The issue is not minor tradition; it is a shift in where authority and salvation are placed.
Scripture consistently points back to Christ alone as sufficient, final, and exclusive in salvation.
Adding anything to the finished atonement of Jesus destroys any possibility of salvation.
No works or person can be added to Jesus and His finished salvation or grace is destroyed and it becomes a false gospel that leaves people in their sin under the judgment of a holy just God and destined for eternal hell.
I hope you can finally see why you need to come out of this cult and turn to Jesus. Your eternal soul depends on it.
@m12870935

Seek First the Kingdom of God – The Priority of Love
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." – Matthew 6:33
When Jesus spoke these words, He was addressing people consumed by worry—worry about food, clothing, and the necessities of life. But He redirected their focus. He told them not to seek after worldly things as their priority, but instead to seek God's kingdom and His righteousness above all else. This wasn’t just a command to trust in God's provision; it was a call to a life completely centered on Him.
But what does it truly mean to seek first God's kingdom? The answer is found in love—loving God with all our heart and loving others as ourselves. Without love, we cannot seek God rightly. Without love, we are nothing (1 Corinthians 13:2).
1. What It Means to Seek First the Kingdom of God
A. Seeking the Kingdom Means Seeking the King
The kingdom of God is not just about rules or rewards—it’s about a relationship with the King, Jesus Christ. To seek His kingdom first means to seek Him first, making Him our greatest desire, above all earthly pursuits.
Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment." (Matthew 22:37-38)
Seeking God's kingdom means loving Him above all:
More than our comfort, ambitions, or possessions.
More than our sin, which separates us from Him.
More than human approval or worldly success.
Loving God means surrendering everything to Him—not out of obligation, but out of a heart captivated by His love.
B. Seeking His Righteousness Means Living in Love
Jesus continued, "And the second [greatest commandment] is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:39)
To seek God's righteousness is to live in love—both toward God and toward others. Jesus told us:
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another." (John 13:34)
Paul echoes this in 1 Corinthians 13, saying that without love, everything we do is meaningless. Seeking first God’s kingdom is not just about avoiding sin—it’s about actively walking in love, showing mercy, and pursuing holiness because we love God.
The love we show is not from ourselves—it comes from God. Jesus said:
"As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love." (John 15:9)
To seek first God's kingdom, we must abide in Christ's love—resting in His love, depending on His strength, and reflecting His love in everything we do.
2. How to Seek First the Kingdom of God in Daily Life
A. Prioritize Time with God in Love
Love isn't just a feeling—it’s devotion. If we love God, we will make time for Him. Jesus often withdrew to be alone with the Father (Luke 5:16). We must do the same through prayer, worship, and reading His Word.
Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." (John 14:15)
Spending time with God should not feel like a duty—it should be the natural response of love for the One who first loved us (1 John 4:19).
B. Love Others as an Overflow of God's Love
Seeking God’s kingdom means showing His love to the world. Love is the evidence of our faith.
John wrote, "Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:8)
Loving others means:
Forgiving as Christ forgave us.
Serving selflessly, not seeking personal gain.
Sharing the Gospel, because the greatest love we can show is leading people to Jesus.
Jesus loved us so much that He took the punishment of hell for us on the cross. If we have truly received that love, we must share it.
C. Make God’s Will Your First Concern
Seeking first God’s kingdom means aligning our plans with His will, not our own. Instead of chasing after worldly success, we must ask:
Does this decision honor God?
🌿 Abiding in Christ:
Living a Life That Counts for Eternity
📖 JESUS SAID ABIDE IN ME
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” -- John 15
🌿 One of Jesus’ Clearest Self-Revelations
This passage is one of the clearest teachings Jesus Christ ever gave concerning who He is and how the Christian life actually works.
Jesus is not speaking poetically or symbolically in a mild way.
He is making a spiritual and ontological claim about reality itself.
When He says, “Abide in Me… apart from Me you can do nothing,” He is describing how life, power, fruit, and eternal significance truly function.
🧠 What Does “Abide in Me” Mean?
The Greek word meno means:
🔹 remain
🔹 dwell
🔹 live in
🔹 be united to
Jesus is not saying: “Follow my teachings”
or
“Think about me sometimes”
He is saying: Your spiritual life must continually remain united to Me.
That alone places Him far beyond a prophet or moral teacher.
He presents Himself as the source of life.
⚠️ “Apart From Me You Can Do Nothing”
This statement must not be softened.
Jesus does not say:
🔹 apart from God
🔹 apart from prayer
🔹 apart from obedience
He says: apart from Me.
Spiritually, that means:
🔹 no spiritual life
🔹 no righteousness
🔹 no fruit
🔹 no salvation
🔹 no power
🔹 no communion with God
No prophet ever spoke like this.
No angel ever spoke like this.
Jesus is teaching that all spiritual life flows through Him.
👑 What This Reveals About Who Jesus Is
Jesus is not the Father, and He is not the Holy Spirit.
Yet He shares the same divine essence.
When He says, “I in you,” He claims the ability to indwell believers spiritually — something only God can do.
This aligns with Scripture:
🔹 “In Him was life”
🔹 “He gives eternal life”
🔹 “In Him all things hold together”
Jesus teaches as God does — because He is God.
🌱 Why the Vine Imagery Matters:
🔹 God alone was Israel’s source of life
Now Jesus says: “I am the true vine.”
A branch does not produce fruit by effort.
It produces fruit by remaining connected.
This is not moral influence.
This is divine life flowing through union with Christ.
🌾 What Is the “Fruit” Jesus Promises?
When Jesus says those who abide in Him will “bear much fruit,” He is not speaking narrowly.
Fruit is not merely:
🔹 religious activity
🔹 good intentions
🔹 outward success
In Scripture, fruit means being used by God to accomplish the will of God for the glory of God.
Fruit is eternal usefulness.
🌾 Fruit Means Participating in God’s Work
Fruit includes:
🔹 obedience that honors God
🔹 Christlike character formed in us
🔹 using spiritual gifts within the church
🔹 building up the body of Christ
🔹 loving and serving others
🔹 witnessing to the gospel
🔹 evangelizing and seeing souls saved
🔹 planting seeds and watering seeds
Some plant.
Some water.
God gives the increase.
Only what flows from abiding in Christ counts.
⚠️ Why “Apart From Me You Can Do Nothing” Is So Serious
Jesus does not say: “You can do less without Me.”
He says: “You can do nothing.”
That means:
🔹 works done in the flesh
🔹 ministry outside God’s will
🔹 activity driven by pride or self-effort
🔹 success defined by the world
may look impressive —
but it has no eternal value.
It does not last.
It does not endure judgment.
It does not follow you into eternity.
A life lived outside God’s will is a wasted life, no matter how busy or admired.
⏳ Why Abiding Makes Life Matter Eternally
When you abide in Christ:
🔹 your life aligns with God’s purposes
🔹 your obedience carries eternal weight
🔹 your service matters forever
🔹 your witness participates in saving souls
🔹 your suffering is not wasted
🔹 your life echoes into eternity
Only what is done in Christ endures forever.
Abide in Christ.
Walk in the Spirit.
Let God use you
Your argument assumes what it needs to prove.
1. Matthew 1:25 naturally implies a change afterward. Matthew says Joseph "did not know her until she had given birth to a son." The normal reading is that the statement applies up to Jesus' birth. If Matthew intended to teach perpetual virginity, this is a very unusual way to express it.
2. The burden of proof is on the perpetual virginity claim. Scripture never says Mary remained a virgin forever. That doctrine is based on later church tradition, not an explicit biblical text.
3. Jesus had brothers and sisters. Matthew 13:55-56 and Mark 6:3 name Jesus' brothers (James, Joses, Simon, and Judas) and mention His sisters. The plain reading is that they were the children of Mary and Joseph. Claims that they were cousins or Joseph's children from an earlier marriage are not found in Scripture.
4. Marriage and sexual relations are holy. God created marriage and commanded mankind to "be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28). Marriage is a "one flesh" union (Genesis 2:24), and "Marriage is honorable among all, and the marriage bed undefiled" (Hebrews 13:4). Paul teaches that husbands and wives should not deprive one another except temporarily by mutual consent for prayer (1 Corinthians 7:3-5). There is nothing holier about perpetual abstinence within marriage.
5. Why would God command Joseph to take Mary as his wife only to deny him a normal marriage for life? Scripture never says that. It is an assumption added to the text.
6. Mary herself acknowledged that she needed a Savior. In Luke 1:46-47 Mary declared, "My spirit rejoices in God my Savior." A person who is sinless does not need a Savior. Mary humbly recognized her need for God's grace just as every other human being does.
7. All people have sinned—including Mary. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." The Bible never makes Mary an exception. The only sinless human being presented in Scripture is Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:22).
8. Scripture warns against forbidding marriage. 1 Timothy 4:1-3 says that in later times some will depart from the faith, "forbidding to marry." The Roman Catholic requirement that priests in the Latin Church remain celibate is an example of a church rule restricting marriage for an entire class of ministers. That is a human tradition, not a command given by Christ or His apostles. Notably, the apostle Peter himself was married (Matthew 8:14), and Paul says an overseer may be "the husband of one wife" (1 Timothy 3:2).
9. No verse explicitly teaches perpetual virginity. The doctrine depends on later tradition, not on the clear teaching of Scripture. The Bible teaches the virgin birth of Christ, but nowhere teaches that Mary remained a virgin for the rest of her life.
The issue is simple: I fully affirm the miracle of the virgin birth. What I reject is adding doctrines to Scripture that Scripture itself never teaches. The biblical evidence consistently points to Mary as a godly, faithful woman who was blessed by God—but still a sinner in need of the same Savior as the rest of us.
