Her violet eyes widened slightly at the unexpected hug, but she welcomed it all the same, gently patting Canary's back.

Stepping back, she tilted her head with a smile.
"I've always been the stronger pillar over there.

“That’s amazing, Lois!” Aaaand she’s pulling the other woman into a tight hug to congratulate.
“I mean — it always felt like you were running things around there, anyway, so I’m glad at least you’re getting paid for it, too.”
She giggled at her reaction and nodded, listening intently to her comment and question.
"Good. I recently got a promotion."
A hint of pride slipped into her smile.
"More work, unfortunately, but it's rewarding."
