Andrew Bridgen told me that in January 2022 someone offered him anything he wanted in the world to shut up about the vaccines, and they put it in a text message because they had apparently never had anyone turn it down before. He assumed they had made that offer to a lot of elected representatives and it had always worked.

He said no.

By November of that year he was having conversations with colleagues he had worked alongside for twelve years, and one of them told him privately that he thought Andrew was right.
