In 2023, at the peak of the Biden administration's efforts to impose Woke ideology on the country and the military, I was punished for publicly standing against transgenderism and promoting sexual immorality to children. My character and career were attacked in the process.

I helped organize citizens to get "drag queen story hour" out of the Pocatello public library, and I campaigned on protecting children from radical gender ideology. I did this as a private citizen and out of uniform. The complaint against me was fabricated based on my religious and political views, not my performance or actions, and was later found to be unsubstantiated.

I paid a professional price for standing for Christian morality in the public square. I would pay that price again. Unlike many who seek elected office, I have a public record that I will stand and sacrifice to fight for truth.

My opponent and his allies call me a "failed officer." I have received awards and citations throughout my career, including two Meritorious Service Medals and the Bronze Star. I still hold a commission in the Idaho Army National Guard.

I am an Iraq War veteran who has deployed as an enlisted soldier, an infantry platoon leader, and an infantry company commander. I deployed domestically as part of a task force to put down the 2020 Antifa and BLM riots in Richmond and other cities in Virginia. I have spent my entire adult life in the armed forces and have faced our nation's enemies, both foreign and domestic.

My opponent and his allies will do anything to avoid talking about his liberal voting record. They cannot defend his votes to let men into women's changing areas or to give welfare benefits to illegal aliens. They do not want to talk about him using his chairmanship to bury Second Amendment bills, tax cuts, and pro-life bills in his drawer.

If Jim Guthrie were a "conservative leader" he could campaign on his voting record instead of attacking my service record.

This is somewhat hysterical and very typical of RINO behavior:

The ADA County GOP wanted me to clarify with you all that they did NOT officially “ENDORSE” me.

There was a poll taken of all the precinct committeemen. In that poll, I beat Brad Little 47 to 17.

Apparently some of the 17 (who are clearly fake Republicans as they support traitor Brad Little) complained about the whole thing.

So, my friends, whatever you do… DO NOT say that @ADAGOPCC “ENDORSED” me.

Just say “Ada County GOP voted and Mark Fitzpatrick absolutely destroyed Brad Little by 30 votes! Mark got 73% and Brad got 27%. Mark Fitzpatrick was the 2026 Ada County GOP Straw Poll Winner! And it wasn’t even close!”

This will help clarify things and shelter some RINOs feelings from being hurt.

FAQ: Are you a “flat-earther”? People say you a conspiracy theorist.

Answer:

No. I am not a flat-earther.

As far as I know, there is not even a single, complete, and consistent “flat earth” theory.

The reason this question keeps coming up is because I am openly skeptical of NASA. I do not trust them. NASA had Nazi roots at its founding and has promoted a worldview that tells us there is no God, no Creator, and that we are simply the result of an accidental cosmic explosion. NASA has Satanic symbolism present throughout its history and work. They have been caught in multiple lies over the years, and they actively support transgender ideology, which I believe is a moral perversion of God’s design for humanity. No, I am not saying that everyone working at NASA is involved in these lies and yes, I am aware there are Christians at NASA who are against transgenderism and who believe in our Father, the Creator.

I simply refuse to blindly “trust the science, ” especially when it comes from massively funded government agencies that are often anti-Christian and heavily influenced by political and corporate interests. We saw the same pattern during COVID. Healthy skepticism is wise when something has enormous funding, lobbying power, and an agenda that contradicts biblical truth. When those conditions are present, we should exercise discernment, rather than automatically believing what we are told.

I believe the Biblical God, the Father, is the Creator and created with the Word, Jesus Christ. I believe we should pursue real truth with open eyes and never outsource our thinking to government scientists or institutions that have repeatedly lied to the public. I do not have all the answers concerning the details of our Creation nor cosmology, and I am content with that. That is my actual position.

Idaho needs a Governor who, will not automatically obey his cognitive dissonance: “But, the government wouldn’t lie to me about a pandemic!” or “Certainly, my favorite celebrities are reporting truth to me!” or “Just trust the science!” or “We just need two more weeks to flatten the curve!” That type of Governor is mentally and emotionally weak. He locks down churches and demands compliance while he tramples on the People’s Rights. I am not Brad Little. I will question the science.
