Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS):

The Israeli occupation’s renewal of the ban on family visits for Palestinian prisoners is not merely an administrative measure. It is part of a systematic policy aimed at deepening prisoners’ isolation and enabling the prison system to continue torture, starvation, and slow killing away from any effective oversight.

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society stressed that the continued ban on family visits, alongside preventing the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) from accessing prisoners, reinforces impunity. It called for urgent international action to end the policy of isolation, immediately resume family visits, and ensure the protection of Palestinian prisoners.
