Trystan Levesque has been Rhode Island’s workhorse on the mound and their most reliable arm this season. With a 65.9% strike rate, 12.7% swinging strike rate, and a .242 xWOBA, he’s shown the ability to both limit damage and miss bats at a high clip. His 26.3% overall miss rate and solid in-zone whiff rate (19.5%) highlight just how tough he is to square up when he’s locked in.
Joseph Sabbath has played a key supporting role in the staff, holding opponents to a .203 batting average and working with a 10.7% SwStr%. He’s more of a contact management guy, but his .256 xWOBA and 23.5% miss rate show he has enough deception and location to get outs consistently. Together, Levesque and Sabbath give URI a solid 1–2 punch to compete.
