@cpscott16 At most we’ve dismantled a lot of the most capable terror group’s capabilities for a time but like you said look in parts of Africa, Mali for example is in a deep power struggle with JNIM, and if you look at Sudan the RSF may not be from the ME but it’s supported by the UAE.

Every week Israeli settlers march through the Old City of Hebron, accompanied by the army, harassing Palestinians on their way. Sometimes these marches turn into full-scale pogroms, with settlers burning Palestinian businesses and attacking people with impunity.

Yesterday was on the less violent side, but the soldiers still harassed the locals and the journalists, and closed down Palestinian stores.

This is a problem that is only getting worse. We have to find a way to better track and report funding in the new media space before trust is completely gone.

Right now we're mostly relying on the integrity of influencers. That's not a viable long-term strategy at baseline but especially when the financial incentives keep climbing.
