CFO Appointment

Bonitas Medical Fund has appointed Vurhonga Rikhotso, CA(SA), as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

She succeeds Luke Woodhouse, whose contract has ended. To ensure a smooth handover, he will continue to consult until the end of June 2025.

Rikhotso is a Chartered Accountant with 16 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Her expertise includes financial reporting, risk management, and strategic leadership.

She has held leadership roles at Transnet and the Auditor-General of South Africa and previously served on the Board of Bonitas, contributing to strategic oversight and financial stewardship.

Rikhotso holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences.

Congratulations are in order.
