Three important lessons I have learned about life:
1. Never lose diamonds while looking for stones.
2. Be patient, because time always reveals whose loss it truly was.
3. Enjoy it before it becomes a memory, because soon, it will be a memory.
I hope you are having a productive week!
As a man, normalise a boring life. Go to bed early. Read long books. Drink tea. Regulate your nervous system. Spend time alone. Go for walks without headphones. Eat simple food. Shrink your circle. Turn down the noise.
The best decision I ever made was to be quiet. I have nothing to prove. I'm done explaining myself, done convincing anyone of my worth, and done fixing what I didn't break. I refuse to fight for a spot in anyone's life. If you see my value, great. If you don't, that's on you. I'm not forcing anyone to appreciate me, respect me, or treat me right. That's a choice they have to make on their own. Just lessons and a future that no longer includes people who took me for granted
Normalize not forcing your importance in someone's life. Let people do what they want so you can see what they'd rather do. If someone doesn't see the value in having you by their side, donโt try to convince them.
When people donโt consider you in the same way you consider them, let them go. Thereโs actually so many people in the world that can match your energy and love you the way you love.
Never apologise for who you are. Your identity is not a liability to be managed. It is an asset to be leveraged.
The things people told you to hide, like your background, accent, culture, age, gender, story, may be the very things that make your contribution unforgettable.
Stand tall. Your difference is your strength.
