@LauraLoomer@TuckerCarlson@RealCandaceO You’re practically foaming at the mouth, Laura. Take a look at yourself. It’s consuming your soul. Whatever else you can say about Tucker, he’s composed. He’s not ruled by his hatred.
@TPV_John Eh, no. Kirk may have moderated on his pure Zionism, but there’s no world where he renounces Trump. At best he’d try to occupy a middle space between the two camps: supporting Trump’s leadership and US military action while expressing doubt about foreign entanglement.
@owroot You don’t want to be in a position where your children hope you die. Like it or not, as parents, even as parents of adults, you have a responsibility to your lineage. Not saying you can’t have fun or setup retirement, but exhausting everything for yourself is selfish
@yarokarabo@OunkaOnX There was a time when a textile merchant could buy a brownstone in Brooklyn. People shouldn’t be priced out of their homeland. Shapiro holds that standard with Israel, but treats the US as a mere economic zone
@NoInnrMonologue@Rblv73 There are many connections the biblical writers make which seem puzzling to us as moderns. (Gen 31.31-32). But they were obvious to the orig audience b/c they operated in a different paradigm. Many of the “extra scriptural dogmas” are logical outgrowths of an ancient heuristic
@BibleInContext1 Modern people import modern baggage into their reading of ancient texts. We make innumerable assumptions when we read a passage, and unless we labor to reclaim an ancient worldview, we’re going to have an inferior grasp of the Bible. The Church Fathers are invaluable for that
@FrMatthewLC You can cite any source you’d like about the relative safety of pasteurized milk, the absolute risk of drinking raw is very low. And it tastes much better. And having a better taste is one of those pleasant little things that make life more pleasant
@StrangePages That’s the paradox. Harder work generally yields better results, and the more technology you throw at a problem, the less inclined you are to labor for perfection.
@rawmilkhoney Traveling is great, but “traveling culture” is just another type of dead consumerism. Not very different than people that collect funko pops. Spiritually bankrupt.
