Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita has received an international humanitarian award in Washington, D.C., USA, days after being honoured in Cameroon by The Voice newspaper as a Decennial Trendsetter: Personality of the Season.

The Bamenda-born pharmacist, entrepreneur, licensed real estate broker and human rights advocate was recognised at the 2026 White House Prayer for Our Nation Awards and Appreciation Gala for his work in philanthropy, humanitarian assistance, economic development and human rights advocacy.

Supporters say the award highlights his growing international profile and years of service to underserved communities, especially within African diaspora circles in the United States.

The recognition has been described as a proud moment for Bamenda, Nkwen and the wider Cameroonian diaspora.
