TV:
Pimville NOT cancelled
SABC announced yesterday that it is discontinuing the production of the telenovela, following issues with payments to cast and crew as well as misappropriation of allocated of funds.
For clarification, the show is not cancelled. The show just didn't have any episodes available to air thus the broadcaster had to make a plan to fill the slot.
When Queendom on BET faced similar issues with payment, the broadcast just fired the production company (CMP) and allocated the remainder of the show to a different company.
Reliably informed that investigations and measures are being taken to resolve the issue. This could lead to a replacement of Bakwena Productions to produce the show.
It could also lead to the show being iced for good. A rumoured over R70-million (haven't independently verified this) was allocated to this show. If majority of that was misused and the SABC is trying to recoup it before continuing with the show, then I fear that this is the end.
On paper though... PIMVILLE has officially not been cancelled.
NB: It is reported in the media that R19-million has been squandered from Pimville.

So basically Musa Mseleku promised all his wives “something” and he broke that promise to all his 4 wives. Now this is affecting number 5, which is unfair to her #UthandoNesthembu
