In Indiana, what started as a simple maternity photo shoot quickly turned into an unforgettable moment, thanks to Buckshot, arguably the most photogenic horse in the county.
Amanda and Phil, the expecting couple, wanted their horses to be part of the shoot since they consider them family. But Buckshot wasn’t content with just being in the background. Instead, he posed front and center, flashed a grin, and completely stole the show.
Photographer Kristen Zaffiro shared that when she jokingly asked Buckshot to smile, he actually did. And the more she laughed, the more he played along, hamming it up like a natural in front of the lens. The result? A photo session no one could have planned, but everyone will remember.

Miles Kubheka, of Gcwalisa, was actually the first to launch this concept in 2022 when he opened in Alex. Skubu launched in 2025 in Diepsloot with a somewhat larger scale version in partnership with DSTI and CSIR. Skubu is unfortunately now getting a test of their own medicine.
Maybe I’m wrong but I think a government that demands accountability for how you spend YOUR money, but refuses to account for how it spends YOUR money, should be immediately replaced.
A Bible was found in their home. Their entire family paid the price.
Reports from North Korea describe a horrifying 2009 case in which a Christian family was arrested after authorities discovered a Bible in their possession. Their two-year-old child was reportedly sentenced to life imprisonment along with his parents.
Think about that.
A child who was barely old enough to understand the world was punished because of the faith of his family.
In North Korea, openly practicing Christianity can put believers at tremendous risk. Possessing a Bible, gathering for worship, or expressing faith in Jesus can bring severe consequences.
While many of us can open the Bible freely, there are believers around the world who risk their freedom—and even their lives—to hold the same Word we sometimes take for granted.
Jesus said:
“Remember those in prison as if you were together with them.”
— Hebrews 13:3
So today, don’t just scroll.
Pray for the persecuted Church. Pray for Christians in North Korea. Pray for families who are suffering because they refuse to deny Jesus. 🙏
And if you have a Bible sitting on your shelf today, thank God for the freedom to open it. 📖✝️
