I just paid my workers today, and one of them did something that got to me.
After my calculations, he made an extra ₦170,000 in commission on top of his fixed ₦40,000. That's ₦210,000 total for the month.
I paid the rest, checked around the office, and was about to drive out when he ran towards me with a small envelope.
I was curious but held back from opening it. I asked what was inside and why. He said:
"This is my own tithe to you, to show how much I appreciate the opportunity. I came in on a ₦40,000 salary, but you introduced the commission system and you didn't cheat us for once. You paid us accordingly and were never threatened by how much we earned."
Then he added:
"I know I worked for it, but other bosses would have slyed on us after seeing I made over 5x what I should have. I will never take this for granted."
I felt emotional. I waited for him to leave before opening the envelope
₦20,000 was in it.
I stood there, speechless.
I tripled it and sent him ₦70,000.
A grateful person will always be grateful, no matter what.
I love people who show gratitude.
Above all, love God.
@ChiSMMxAI@Tech_babby Ai can't be perfect that is why Ai company are still looking out for human efforts for the Ai to perform better, position and rebrand matters too
As I got older, I realised:
1. Friendship is not by force. You can love people and still walk away when a relationship becomes one-sided.
2. People may celebrate your downfall more enthusiastically than your progress. Not everyone who asks about you wants you to succeed.
3. Money gives you options. No matter how good your intentions are, life becomes harder when you have no money.
4. You don't have to attend every event or buy everything your friends buy. Sometimes, the money you spend trying to fit in is what you need to move forward.
5. People can change when your circumstances change. Never build your entire life around the assumption that someone will always be there for you.
6. You cannot please everybody. Even when you do the right thing, someone will find a reason to criticise you.
7. Not every problem deserves a response. Sometimes, silence and distance are better than endless explanations.
8. Life is unpredictable. Make plans, save money, take care of your health, and appreciate the people you love while you can.
9. Helping people is good, but you must learn to help within your capacity. You cannot destroy yourself trying to save everybody.
10. Everybody is fighting a battle you may know nothing about. Never assume someone has life figured out simply because they look successful.
If you saw my workspace when I started, you probably wouldn't believe this is where I am today.
I started with a plastic chair.
I didn't have everything figured out.
I was just trying to find my way, learn, get opportunities, and build a better life for myself.
Today, I work remotely with people across different parts of the world.
People I've never met physically trust me enough to work with me.
I've earned money online, trained over 1,600 people, and built a life that once felt so far away from me.
And sometimes, I sit down and think about how much has changed.
But do you know what really gets me?
Knowing there are people out there who are just like the old me.
People who are talented but don't know where to start.
People who desperately want a remote job but have spent months applying without getting anywhere.
People who want to support themselves and their families but genuinely don't know how to make it happen.
I know what it feels like to want more for yourself.
I know what it feels like to be searching for opportunities and hoping something finally works out.
That's why I keep teaching people how to position themselves, find opportunities, pitch to clients, and get remote jobs.
Because sometimes, all someone needs is the right information, a clear direction, and someone to help them take action.
That's why I created the 30 Days Remote Job Challenge.
We're starting November 2, and for 30 days, I'll guide you through practical steps to position yourself for remote opportunities, find the right people to reach out to, and start taking intentional action.
If getting a remote job is something you've been praying, hoping, and working towards, I'd love to have you inside.
The 15k discount ends by 9pm tonight, comment REMOTE and I'll send you the registration link.
IF I WANTED TO MAKE MY FIRST ₦1,000,000 FROM REMOTE WORK IN THE NEXT 3 MONTHS, HERE'S EXACTLY WHAT I'D DO. 👇🏽
First, I'd stop positioning myself as someone who is just looking for work.
I'd position myself as someone who solves a specific problem for businesses.
Let me explain.
5. I'd focus on getting better clients, not just more clients.
Once I land a client, I'd do excellent work, communicate properly, collect testimonials, and ask for referrals where appropriate.
I'd use the results I deliver to strengthen my portfolio and make my next pitch more convincing.
That's how I'd approach the next three months.
Not by learning ten different skills.
Not by applying for every job I see.
But by taking the skill I already have, positioning it around a valuable problem, and consistently getting it in front of the right people.
Pick one:
SEO, Ads, Web design, Copywriting, Email marketing.
Pick one:
Do these:
Content, DMs, Emails, Social proof.
No way you don't win.
Someone once said that if you post one video every day on Instagram for a year, your life will change.
I started posting in March. It’s been about seven months, and I can see the changes🤦♀️
The skill freelancing silently kills
Freelancing unconsciously takes away sales and marketing from you. You rely on Fiverr and Upwork to bring clients to you.
Negotiation and persuasion are the second skills that die slowly when you rely heavily on freelancing platforms.
I address both in my cold emailing blueprint. Return to tradition.
Tradition is researching successful startups and breakout companies in different niches — healthcare, ecommerce, edtech, fintech, AI & cybersecurity, hardware and defense.
Then use AI to map out their core messaging, aspirations, and pain points. Pretty easy to do with good prompts.
To show high agency, you must tie your skills to their aspirations and quantify it in money terms. Your narrative should show how you help them make more money or reduce operational costs.
You can't go wrong if you knock on enough doors in the right way. Back to tradition.
Being financially stable before marriage means you are not entering marriage with the expectation that your partner will solve all your financial problems.
It means you can feed yourself, pay your bills, handle emergencies, and contribute meaningfully to the responsibilities that come with building a family.
It means you have a source of income, even if it is not much, and you are intentional about improving your financial situation.
It means you understand that marriage comes with responsibilities beyond paying for a wedding. There is rent, feeding, transportation, healthcare, children’s school fees, and unexpected expenses.
You don’t have to be rich before getting married, but you should have a plan for how you intend to survive and grow together.
Marriage is easier when two people are willing to build together, but building together is different from entering marriage with no plan and expecting love to solve every problem.

I and my friends used to look at this thing as "Bombing LinkedIn"
We had a system to look for these companies on LinkedIn, head over to the people section and start bombing the people in the sector we wanted to work for in the company.
We would bomb at least 30-40 persons, and most times because we didn't have LinkedIn Premium, there were some persons we couldn't reach.
I used this exact system for just 3 weeks and landed my first ever full-time role in design, and about 2 weeks later a Ui/Ux full-time role as well. Till I later discovered Discord, Reddit and Telegram communities, and I left LinkedIn eventually.
