EXXARO CEO SUSPENDED

Exxaro has placed its CEO Dr. Nombasa Tsengwa on precautionary suspension. This decision is effective immediately and comes as the company launches an independent investigation into allegations regarding workplace conduct and governance issues.

The Exxaro Board insists this step is necessary for both the company and Dr. Tsengwa. During the investigation, she will not perform any executive duties or participate in board activities.

Stepping into a corporate executive role is less about "brain power" and more about "boredom power".

This ability to stay engaged in these tedious sessions is something people at lower levels often do not realize, nor appreciate.
