Day 5 of the challenge!

Today was about exploring economy simulation concepts. I am really attracted to the idea of creating an (at least partially) simulated economy. Who knows? Maybe one day Resettle will feature interstellar trading!

As promised, we have sparks! Also the asteroids now got larger and destructible and the mining ship's sprite is now changed.

Day 3 of the challenge!

Today was all about incorporating the knowledge of particle systems that I gained the previous days into Resettle. No concrete results yet, but I recon in a few days I'll have the functionality up to par and I will be sharing screenshots!

Day 2 of the challenge!

Two days ago I enrolled in the Game Jam Plus. I met a fellow jammer - 3D artist and together we designed and built a mini demo 3D game which was submitted today before the deadline.

Starting Nov 1st (today!!) the folks over there at the #GlobalGameJam are starting a new challenge #gamedev75!

In this challenge game developers have to post at least once a day for 75 days with updates about their game dev journey.
