.@Sonderling47: "I am hereby suspending from the Permanent Labor Certification Program some of the largest IT outsourcing firms in the world — Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, and Capgemini — and also, due to multiple active federal investigations, @USDOL is suspending Microsoft and Adobe from the program."
.@VP: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft."
Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees — yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.
🚨 Sir Alex Ferguson reflects on mortality and his hopes of making the opening ceremony of Man United's new stadium in his new book, 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲:
"Every now and again, death crosses my mind. When United announced their plans for a fabulous new stadium to replace Old Trafford, I found myself wondering whether I would be around to celebrate its opening."
"I hope they get to break ground quickly, because if it takes five years to complete, I'll be pushing ninety. However, I know I'll be at the ceremony one way or another – in person or in spirit."

Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are …
This is a crime against the people of India!
Seeing the riots in France and the terrible state of the French economy made me think of this 🔥 speech by Lee Kuan Yew.
"Look at the buildings around you. Look at the stock market bouncing up.
Let me tell you how to bring it down. Have a couple of really good riots, shake political confidence."
On top of that, the French economy is collapsing. Only one in three French people works in the real economy. Two-thirds live off other people’s taxes. The entire system is completely unsustainable due to absurd pensions and runaway state spending.
At the end of the clip, Lee says:
"My political opponent says that we are 'obsessed with profits'
I say 'YES! That’s how Singapore survives.'
If you have no profit, who pays for all of this?
If you make profit into a dirty word.. Singapore dies!”
Beyond mass migration, this is how Western Europe is dying btw.
🇪🇺Europe has zero of the world's 15 biggest refineries.
In a diesel crisis, that leaves it with no bargaining power.
🇮🇳India's Jamnagar (Reliance) leads at 1.36M b/d.
9 of the top 15 are in Asia and the Gulf, and 3 of those are in 🇰🇷South Korea.
🇺🇸US has 4.
🇻🇪Venezuela has 1.
🇳🇬Nigeria has 1 (Dangote).
Europe has none....
Refining capacity decides who exports diesel and jet fuel, and who has to buy them.
In the past few weeks, the exporters have used that power.
🇨🇳China paused fuel exports for October.
🇷🇺Russia's export ban is still in place.
🇺🇸Washington threatened a diesel export ban before the G7 stock release deal.
Europe has spent a decade closing refineries and making up the shortfall with imports, some of it from Jamnagar.
Since January, the EU has also banned fuel refined from Russian crude, which shrinks the pool of suppliers again.
Meanwhile Dangote is taking the West African gasoline market that European refiners used to supply.
Europe's refining gap has become a strategic weakness, much as gas dependence was in 2022.
Capacity isn't output: Paraguaná runs far below its 955k b/d, and Russian refinery runs are down 14%.
And the G7 release only covers about four months.
Should Europe pay to keep its refineries open as strategic assets, or accept depending on Asia, the Gulf and the US for diesel?

Chinese households have spent decades allocating more income away from consumption, even as incomes continue to rise.
Why?
Part 1 of my new essay explores the complex relationship between property, balance sheets, confidence, and consumption in China.

In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded but you remain the same.
1/ Everyone in Nigeria has a location. Now every location has a postcode.
Today, on our Independence Day, NIPOST launches the National Digital Postcode System. 🧵 #KnowYourPostcode
2/ For generations, Nigerians have given directions instead of addresses: "after the mosque," "opposite the big mango tree." Parcels get lost, emergency services lose precious minutes, and businesses can't reach customers.
3/ The new system gives every home, shop, farm, school and office a precise, digital alphanumeric postcode, mapped and managed from our new NIPOST GIS lab.
4/ This is more than mail. A precise address is the foundation for e-commerce and last-mile delivery, emergency response, access to banking and credit, and better planning of public services.
5/ My deepest gratitude to President @officialABAT for his vision and support under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and to the Hon. Minister @bosuntijani, whose leadership in building Nigeria's digital economy made this possible.
6/ Thank you to the NIPOST @NipostNgn family, our partners, and every Nigerian who brought this together. This is national infrastructure built by Nigerians, for Nigerians.

It's over for Bajaj,Hero, TVS in overseas market. Their hard gained market share in Africa is going to get wiped out by chinese electric two wheelers in 5-6 years. The gap in e2w export is insane. India exported 8k e2ws in 2025. China exported 9 million .
Prediction:
European leaders will not agree to draw down their diesel reserves & Trump is going to impose the 90 diesel export ban.
*It’s all a dog and pony show, the objective is to artificially create a diesel shortage, as a means of imposing energy lockdowns, to crash the markets & consolidate power. The end goal of that is highlighted very clearly by UN’s Agenda 2030, and the WEF 2030 vision. Deindustrialize the world by creating energy shortages, use lockdowns to further restrict travel and usurp power via tyranny, and put the people into 15 minute cities, with programmable money & electric vehicles with no ability to steer.
