Singapore offers a model worth learning from. Through proactive housing and integration policies, different ethnic groups live side by side instead of forming large ethnic enclaves.

Europe's integration challenge is different. Many Muslim immigrants have remained socially and economically separated from mainstream society, living in isolated communities with few job opportunities. Such conditions can fuel crime and create an environment where extremist ideologies are more easily spread.

Unlike the approach adopted in China, Singapore has not sought to remove visible expressions of Muslim identity from public life. Instead, it allows mosques, Buddhist temples, and churches to coexist. Muslims enjoy equal access to education, employment, and public services, and generally participate in the same neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces as everyone else. This level of social integration helps reduce isolation, which many researchers consider an important factor in lowering the risk of radicalization. At the same time, Singapore's strict rule of law and tough enforcement serve as a strong deterrent against crime and extremism.

不过我们再想深一层，就是到了“顶尖人才”这个级别的培养，是不是基本都应该个性化，甚至是突破一些常规的？否则，出不了霍金这样的科学家。
我曾在清华课堂上听一位教授说过：中国一流大学教育的平均水平，或许不输给美国，但是对顶尖人才的培养，却差得太远太远
