Nebulus
The first time I saw Nebulus's rotating tower was a real WOW moment. Technically stunning, graphically gorgeous, ultra addictive and highly original, Nebulus is bloody hard, but it's an outstanding game.

Platoon
Ocean had a history of bad TV and movie tie in games, but with Platoon they absolutely nailed it. It has ace graphics and music and absorbing, addictive gameplay, and its neat mini games format set the template for future film tie ins
Here’s a quick update on this little rpg/maze PETSCII game in BASIC I’m working on with my son. Navigation, collecting items, unlocking doors with keycards, etc. is done. Just combat left to do, and then inputting map-level data. #c64 And some art for items.

Like Impossible Mission, Fist knocked me out when I first played it. The big, beautifully animated fighters; the wonderfully drawn backdrops; the crunching sampled sound effects; the gorgeous soundtrack... (1/2)
