@fire_ecologist Very interesting. Even application & preparing for 15+ interviews could take a lot of time, not to mention the time required for 90 papers... Seems like they found a way to crack the system. But I hate the idea of reducing science to number of publications and self-marketing.

@zzeynepersoy I think the source of the problem is having many variations of Zeynep in other languages. Interestingly, my problem is the opposite, only Turkish people writes my name wrongly 😅

Excited to see this paper since I just started to read literature about conservation planning in freshwater ecosystems! We were using Marxan for terrestrial ecosystems but its nice to see more ex. from freshwaters as well ☺️
