@jgbrass A4: That i might be able to teach my Ss that music can be used for a force of good. To use music as a mood altering platform. To be able to connect with the musical world around them. In these FASCINATING times i believe kids needs music more than ever! #musedchat
@jgbrass A4: To be able to set my students up for success. That my Ss will enjoy music class and be able to see it as a break from their regular day and a safe place to express themselves. #musedchat
A2: Honestly, i've enjoyed challenging myself to learn new things. I now know how to record a video, and use a pretty sophisticated software to edit it and add effects to produce it for my distance learners. It's fun to learn new things! #musedchat
@jgbrass A3: Trying to focus on family. At school PD day we did a "One Word" session. My word for the year is "Journey". I'm trying to focus on the journey of the day. #musedchat
@jgbrass Yes! Our sleep schedule has even changed. We go to bed early and get up early to get ahead of the day. Husband and I are on the same schedule. I don't function well on too little sleep. However I am spending some of my weekend recording, video editing, grading #musedchat
@jgbrass A2 part 3: And not teaching to the concert/performance. I am focusing on being tuneful, beatful and artful this year. Focusing on basics and foundations=not just getting through the concert. #musedchat
@jgbrass A2. Also in seeing the kids face to face! Even if we can't sing and we're all behind masks. We are still creating, responding and learning about music. I love the little notes that i get during the day from students that say they love music. Keeping those forever! #musedchat
