Freedom Pool Update (May 28, 2026): The pool is scheduled to reopen Thursday, June 4. We anticipate the splash pad reopening sooner and will provide an update once it is open.
Temporary closure notice: Due to vandalism involving broken glass, Freedom Pool will be drained and cleaned beginning May 27. The splash pad will also close temporarily during this process. We anticipate reopening the pool May 31.
Quick update on the Joaquin Murrieta Splash Pad: crews are finishing the shade structure installation early, and the splash pad will reopen tomorrow, May 28, at 8 a.m.🎉

Good afternoon, this is an update regarding the temporary closure of Udall Pool (7200 E. Tanque Verde Rd.). Staff discovered glass in the pool, requiring it to be drained and thoroughly cleaned for safety. The earliest reopening is Friday. Updates to follow.
