For context I have boycotted RIIZE AND Xnghan since the goal was to make SM, not the members feel the pressure from the fans. But given the effort in Xnghan’s debut, I hope this is a sign that they’ll treat him better. Regardless I’ve always treated both Xnghan and RIIZE fairly
nobody asked and I havent been active at all here, but with xnghan&xoul’s debut, I have decided to support both RIIZE and Xnghan. Supporting one at the expense of another is counterproductive. Im just happy to see them thrive
Though apart, Im overjoyed to hear their voices again
Like his debut is a year away, why are you guys acting like this protest is the most evil thing on the planet to do.
If you really believe the protest deters his debut, then SM was never really serious about Seunghan’s debut to begin with.
SM KNOWS Seunghan has support btw
It’s insane to me how some people who were so adamant about the boycott and protest are now deterring and shaming those who still want to fight for Seunghan and RIIZE. How fast the night changes…
What happened to the narrative of respective each other’s decisions at this time?
sm in that office keekeeing tf down bc they got exactly what they wanted. fandoms even more divided just as they wanted to be when they made that announcement. hell i would be doing the same exact thing if i was a greedy company and thats all it took.
I feel like there will come a time where our differing opinions of how to handle this situation will only wifen the divide in this fandom. OT7s that continue to boycott and fight for justice will push and urge which in turn will irritate and annoy those who have accepted it.
I personally will still boycott, but if you’re supporting Seunghan, might as well support RIIZE. As he said, support in the way you think is best for you and for RIIZE.
This fandom is doomed, but at least someone is coherent in their support.
You can’t boycott RIIZE if you’re not boycotting Seunghan.
You can’t support Seunghan if you’re not supporting RIIZE.
Doing one but not the same for the other is counter-productive and hypocritical.
all our ot7 projects, the trucks, the ads, the protests, intl fans working together, dedication of the fanbases, all the money raised and donated...
minimized to "wave your seven flags and spam" is so utterly disrespectful to everything we have fought for the past YEAR
I have no qualms about him being a soloist cuz I understand he went through so much being in the group, but none of what we’ve been fighting for has been addressed by SM.
No action toward his or RIIZE’s protection
No statement/action of justice
IMO, we should STILL boycott
everyone can agree to disagree, as long as we remain respectful. however I'm sorry to say I will not be boycotting. I've always wanted what HE believed was best for him, even if it's not what we hoped for. I respect his decision to continue as an artist, especially
I have not seen a single respectable OT7 Briize downplaying Seunghan’s ability to go solo. What is being said is that him going solo without SM doing anything about protecting him will not do him any good.
SM has done nothing of the sort.
“he can’t be a soloist, he isn’t strong enough” atp you guys just want to downgrade him and his talent, asking him back to riize and ask sm to give justice is one thing BUT SAYING that he isn’t mentally strong enough to debut as a soloist is such a crazy thing to say
Bringing him back as a soloist does nothing to protect the rest of Riize from toxic fans
This situation could happen again and then what will SM do ? Kick an other member out ?
After thinking about it, I will boycott SM-Seunghan for the time being. There is still time before his “solo debut”. SM needs to feel that we ARE NOT satisfied with this “solution”.
We can support his debut when it actually comes, but don’t stop boycotting (both SM and RIIZE).
The way they also released an English translation means that it’s specifically meant for an international audience.
How are we supposed to handle this. Supporting Seunghan here would mean money for SM (basically just offsetting the boycott from RIIZE), but not boycotting would—
