@sarahb_paw I hire for audio. But I can tell you it has always been difficult to keep an audio engineer. A lot of times they stop working in the indie game scene I'm in. 🤷
Also for some indies with thin stretched budgets, audio engineering can be an added cost that just isn't prioritized.

@Alex_at_Moon People love to have "opinions" on indies. Real talk. Whenever I bring up issues with mainstream art of writing or representation or how they treat consumers, I'm met with "Well you can't really say anything to those companies."

the tweet about indie VNs 😬😬 seriously this epidemic of people bullying/being mean spirited to creators just because it doesn't suit their personal preferences is crazy. a lot of them are made by 1 person as a passion project for free. they deserve all of the support!!
