๐ถ๐ Yesterday, TUPD received a report of a dog in distress in the parking lot at 574 Boston Ave in Medford. Officer Murphy responded to the call and immediately brought the dog into his cruiser to keep it warm. Shortly after, Officer Moschella, who also arrived at the location, provided the dog with food and water.
Meanwhile, at the SMFA Tufts University campus, Officer Wellnitz, while listening to radio transmissions, noticed a Facebook post about a lost dog in Somerville. Officer Wellnitz sent the post to Officer Murphy, who then contacted the dogโs owner. The owner met officers at the TUPD police station, and we were able to reunite โCocoaโ with her family.
Proud of our team for going above and beyond for our community! ๐๐
